MY DEBUT FANTASY NOVEL IS OUT NOW!

I can finally say the words I've been dreaming of saying for so long! I don't even know how to fully put this into words what I'm feeling right now.

This story has been such a huge part of my life for so long. There were days I thought I'd never reach this point, days I doubted myself, days I stared at a blank screen wondering if I was even capable of finishing a book... but I kept going. I kept writing. I kept pushing through every moment of writer's block, anxiety, stress, every late night revision and edit, every scene and plot hole that made me question everything. Until suddenly I looked up and realized... I DID IT!

This book is real. It exists out in the world now. It's complete. And it's mine.

I poured my heart and soul into this story. I built this world piece by piece, breath by breath, chapter by chapter. I fell in love with the characters like they were real people, and I cried over them, laughed with them, carried them with me everywhere I went. This story became my escape, my comfort, my passion, and honestly... one of the greatest things I've ever accomplished.

A lot of people see my debut novel Heir of Wind & Ash and think it’s just a fantasy story I created because I love writing. And while that’s true. It’s also so much deeper than that. This book wasn’t just something I wrote for fun. This book was something I wrote to survive. I’ve always been a writer. Even when I was younger, I would make up stories in my head, write them down, and share them with my friends. Writing was always my safe place. My little world where I could control what happened, where I could create characters who were brave, loved deeply, and fought through the darkness.

A few years ago, I started seriously imagining what it would be like to write an actual book. I started brainstorming ideas, building worlds in my mind, creating characters, and daydreaming about a story that felt bigger than anything I’d ever written before. It felt exciting. It felt like something I was meant to do. But what I didn’t know then… was that writing that book would end up being the thing that carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

When I was with my ex, things didn’t start off the way they ended. At first, I believed in him. I believed in the relationship. I believed in the future he painted for me. And when he gave me a promise ring, I thought it meant something real. I thought it meant commitment. Loyalty. Commitment. Love. I thought it meant I was safe.

After that… everything changed.

That’s when the verbal abuse started. The mental abuse. The constant tearing me down. The manipulation. The control. The feeling that no matter what I did, it was never enough. The way I slowly stopped recognizing the person I was becoming. And then it got worse. It turned physical. I don’t think people understand what that kind of relationship does to you. It doesn’t just hurt your body. It breaks your spirit. It makes you doubt your own thoughts. It makes you feel trapped inside a life you don’t even recognize anymore. It makes you feel like you’re walking on eggshells every second of every day, constantly trying to avoid the next explosion. I felt like I was living inside a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from. And in the middle of all of that… I started writing again.

Writing became my escape. It became the only place where I could breathe. The only place where I wasn’t being yelled at, belittled, threatened, or scared. The only place where I could still feel like me. There were nights I would write because I couldn’t sleep. Nights where my chest felt tight, where I felt like I was drowning in my own thoughts, and the only way I could calm myself down was by opening my laptop and disappearing into another world. A world where pain wasn’t the end of the story. A world where darkness could be fought. A world where survival meant something. A world where love wasn’t supposed to hurt.

I wrote Heir of Wind & Ash because I needed something to hold onto when my real life felt like it was falling apart. I wrote it because I needed a reminder that there is still beauty in the world, even when you’re surrounded by ugliness. I wrote it because I needed to believe that strength could be found even when you feel broken. I wrote it because when I couldn’t save myself in the moment… I could save my characters. I could give them a chance to fight back. I could give them a voice. I could give them power. And somehow, without even realizing it at first… I was giving those things back to myself too.

This book is more than fantasy. It’s more than magic, kingdoms, battles, and romance.

It’s pieces of my survival stitched into chapters. It’s proof that even when I was at my lowest, even when I felt trapped and afraid, I still created something. Something real. Something meaningful. Something that came from pain… but turned into purpose.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because I know I’m not the only one who has lived through something like this. And I want anyone who feels stuck, scared, silenced, or broken to know this:

You are not weak.

You are not alone.

And your story does not end in the chapter you’re currently living in.

Writing this book reminded me that even in the darkest moments, there is still a part of you that can survive. A part of you that can create. A part of you that can dream of something better.

Heir of Wind & Ash will always be my debut novel… but it will also always be my escape story. My healing story. My proof that I made it out. And I’m proud of myself for that.

If you’ve supported me, encouraged me, shared my posts, bought my book, or even just spoken kind words to me… thank you. You have no idea what it means. And if you’re someone silently fighting your own battles right now… I’m sending you love. Please don’t give up. Because even when life feels like a nightmare… you are still capable of creating something beautiful.

Heir of Wind & Ash is available in paperback and ebook on Amazon.
